This past weekend, I had a booth at the “Artists Creating a Better World” Show in Lake Oswego. This fun little craft show is dedicated to donating aid to people/groups in need. This is especially important this time of year, with PDX being so freakin’ cold!! For this show, I took the opportunity to try out a new design for

I should have posted this a month ago, but better late than never. Writer Neil Gaiman addressed the graduating class at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia last month. His speech is inspiring and worth listening to. My favorite line: “Make good art.” Enjoy. Neil Gaiman Addresses the University of the Arts Class of 2012 from The University of

“Don’t Play Koi with Me” was featured in a wonderful treasury this evening! Kelly Tankersley from 88editions put together a treasury featuring some wonderful artists, including my piece. Thanks Kelly! You made my day!

I finished carving the block in 2010 or so, but I just never got around to printing it. I don’t really have a reason for not

In my google searches for tires, I can across an amazing artist, Wim Delvoye. A Belgian artist, Delvoye carves intricate designs into the sidewalls and treads of used tires. To see more of
