Artist’s Statement:
“Zodiac” depicts the animals of the Chinese zodiac surrounding a central yin yang symbol. Each animal is accompanied by its name in Chinese characters. For this print, I was inspired by Chinese cut-paper designs. I wanted to incorporate the yin/yang and Chinese zodiac into the cut-paper style.
